Personal Branding/Logo Design
Prompt
Create a different brand/logo for each member of my residential life team using their personalities and interests.
Solution
After spending some time with my team, I knew their personalities and their interests and wanted to develop a personal logo for them. Each logo is unique and a different style that represents the team member based on their own interests or their personality.
The Process
The Process
I began this process by first developing a name for the “company” or brand of each team member. I used my own research gathered on each team member to develop a name that would best resonate with them. Some were more easy to generate than others, but after several different name ideas were tried and tested, this list was the final list.
The next step was to develop logo concepts that could work for the name I had chosen for each team member. There are only a couple logo thumbs for each team member.
Then I went and began drafting more details and the overall concept that I first began with the thumbnails and names. The drafting stage took the longest and there are only a few showcased here, but it was the most fun part adding more detail and personality to each logo. This is also the stage where I began thinking about the different typography that should be used for each logo.
The last step was to take all of my drawings and designs and then digitize them. I used the app procreate to design and construct all of the designs. This was the most fun stage as I was able to incorporate as much personality into the logos as I could. Strategically using color and the chosen typography for each logo.
